On the long drive from Florida to DC we spent one night in Chattanooga, TN and not at any ol' motel/hotel but the Chattanooga Choo Choo. It was a curious place that is definitely dated-- and not necessarily in a good way. We saved and stayed in the motel portion but you can also stay in actual train cars (as my mom and nephews had done just 2 weeks before us). These photos are a few of my favorites from our short stay.
